Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of AI Voicemail & Call Screening (the "Service"), operated by Altor Lab Private Limited ("Katch", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

The Service provides an AI-powered voicemail assistant that answers missed phone calls on your behalf, generates call summaries, and screens for spam. The Service requires you to set up conditional call forwarding on your mobile carrier.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of a country where the Service is available. The Service is currently available in the United States. You are responsible for complying with all applicable local laws.

3. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Your phone number is your account identity. Do not share your OTP codes with anyone.

4. Subscription and Billing

• The Service offers a 3-day free trial.
• After the trial, a subscription of $9.99/month (or $99.99/year) is required to continue using the Service.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
• Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Service to:

• Intercept calls without the caller's knowledge in a manner that violates applicable wiretapping or recording laws.
• Impersonate another person.
• Conduct any illegal activity.
• Circumvent call-blocking or do-not-call registries.

6. Call Recording and Consent

The Service records and transcribes calls answered by your AI assistant. The AI assistant announces itself as an AI at the beginning of each call. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable call recording laws in your jurisdiction, including two-party consent laws where applicable.

7. Emergency Services

IMPORTANT: The Service is not a replacement for emergency services. Do not rely on the Service to receive emergency calls. The AI assistant cannot contact emergency services on your behalf. Ensure your carrier voicemail or direct line remains accessible for emergency situations.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, carrier issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altor Lab Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, including missed calls or business losses.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
